Hi friends,
On April 19th at the Sarasota Opera House at 7:30PM there will be a screening of the film,
Sarasota Film Festival film .
This is the story of Kevin Turner, an NFL player who developed ALS, a devastating disease…that may have been caused by his participation in a game that he loved.
What you may or may not know is that there is groundbreaking brain research going on right here in Sarasota at the Roskamp Institute. Dr. Fiona Crawford has received funding from both NIH and the Department of Defense. She and her team are researching traumatic brain injury, and she will be speaking and answering your questions after the film.
Tickets for the film only are $12.00 and can be purchased by going to:
Or you may purchase them at the box office located in Hollywood 20.
Please share this with anyone who has or is suffering from ALS or any other traumatic brain injury. This is a film and informative evening you won’t want to miss.
A special thank you to the Sarasota Film Festival for their community outreach and collaboration with the Roskamp Institute to bring us such an important film.
Hope I will see you there!
Best,
