Mike Fehily, Professor of Spanish at USF Sarasota-Manatee, will expand our knowledge of our newest Sister City explaining what he has learned during his past 5 visits to Merida since being part of original exploratory Sarasota Sister City visit in December 2009. Learn about Mayan archeological sites, habanero, colonial buildings, museums, cenotes and the importance of 12/21/12 and a city history that existed 460 years ahead of the founding of Sarasota.

RSVP and payment required by Oct 2nd. Early RSVP is encouraged to ensure we can advise the yacht club of space and meal requirements. Meal selection is Cobb Salad. Luncheon payment of $25 can be made electronically at:
