I want to thank Tom Halbert and acknowledge all the hard work he and the Conference Team expended on the conference planning. It paid off. The conference was a great success.
While I wondered why we needed to be refreshed about evaluation, our wonderful SCI CEO and President Mary Kane told us we need to show our communities our value. From futurist David Houle to our own Craig Hullinger telling us how to use social media in the "shift age" we looked to the future. At the same time we learned about on going programs for youth (Dr. Ray Young) and economic development (Dr. Chuck Steilen). Dr. Carolyn Bloomer had everyone sharing at the round/rectangle tables.
