2013 Youth Leadership Summit
Providing youth with the tools to lead, network, and become informed global citizens!
The 2013 Sister Cities International Annual Conference in San Antonio features the Youth Leadership Summit (July 11-13)open to all high school students (ages 14-18 years). The Summit includes specially guided sessions where youth participants will role-play as a country representative at a convening of the United Nations. Youth will learn, debate, deliberate, and negotiate, as they play the role of an international diplomat. U.S.-China EcoPartnerships Program: Call for Proposals
Attention members! Does your city have a Chinese sister city? The U.S.-China EcoPartnerships Program is now seeking participants for its pilot projects to promote energy security, economic growth, and environmental sustainability. Already existing U.S.-China partnerships can submit a joint application to participate in this unique program, which brings together valuable networks of private sector investment, state and local expertise, and high-level policymakers in both the U.S. and Chinese governments.
